We are pleased that you are visiting our social media online presences and appreciate your interest in our company. Below, we would like to provide you with information regarding the processing of your personal data in connection with our social media online presences.
Protecting your personal data is important to us. Personal data is information relating to the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your legal name, address, telephone number and date of birth, as well as any other data that can be linked to an identifiable person.
Our data protection practices comply with statutory provisions, in particular the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following data protection information serves to fulfil the information obligations arising from the GDPR. These can be found, for example, in Art. 13 and Art. 14 et seq. GDPR.
The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is the party who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with the customers, interested parties, and users active there and to inform them about our services.
In this context, the following types of data may be processed:
The controller does not collect any data via its social media channels (e.g., for competitions, lead ads, tracking, dashboards, etc.) that is not related to the basic functions of the social media channels.
Please note that user data may be processed outside the European Union. This may result in risks for users, as it could, for example, make the enforcement of user rights more difficult. With regard to US providers certified under the Privacy Shield, we point out that they thereby commit to complying with EU data protection standards.
Furthermore, user data is generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. For example, usage profiles can be created from usage behavior and the resulting interests of the users. These usage profiles can, in turn, be used to place advertisements within and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For these purposes, cookies are generally stored on the users’ computers, in which the usage behavior and interests of the users are saved. Furthermore, data can also be stored in the usage profiles independently of the devices used by the users (especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged into them).
The processing of users’ personal data is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective user information and communication with users in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. If users are asked by the respective providers/operators of the platforms for consent to the aforementioned data processing, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a., Art. 7 GDPR.
For a detailed description of the respective processing operations and the options for objection (opt-out), we refer to the information provided by the providers/operators of the respective networks linked below under the point “Where is the data processed?“.
Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the providers/operators. Only the providers/operators have access to the users’ data in each case and can directly take appropriate measures and provide information. Should you nevertheless require assistance, you can contact us.
